Teeth and Finances, please don't stand up
03-17-11 07:24 PM

Man, I feel a lot better, but I still have to go back to the dentist to have some work done on my tooth. I'm putting out way too much d**n money though. I hate it!

Anyway, I decided that for now, instead of trying to pay more on my car payment up front, that I would just pay the minimum, until I get some more saved in my bank account. I don't want to do that, because I'll end up paying over $3,000 more than the car is worth by the end of the payment period, if I don't try to catch up later. That is so ridiculous. But I don't have a choice right now. I still don't know about my job, my health, or my future expenses. I'm actually trying to be wise for once.

Eating: I lost a little weight, because I couldn't really eat a lot with my tooth aching like it did, but I'm on the fast track to gaining it back. So, I'm trying to diet while I got an advantage. It's hard though, because my body is craving food now, because it's been so deprived. I hope I don't gain it all back. That will just depress me more.

Well, I got some merchandising projects scheduled for a few weeks in row, which is fantabulous! However, the assistant to my manager got promoted to a manager herself, which is kinda sad -- only because she was pretty darn good at being organized and getting work assigned and etc... etc... So, now it's just him, which is still fine. He's a wonderful manager; I just wish they had more "helpers". It's not like he's just over a few folks -- he's got hundreds. That's a lot of stuff to keep up with for one person and the number of projects. But I'm glad I got what I requested when I did, because I so need the money.

Back to the car for a moment: I'm financing through Wells Fargo. They started calling me every day, so I put my number on the do not call list registry and haven't heard anything since then. I was reading online that they call to verify your info, like your social security number and account number, things like that. Ummm.... you already have that. Therefore, it's no need to go over it again. I don't give anybody anything like that, unless it's absolutely necessary. That's why I'm just going to either mail or go make my payments in person somewhere, so they don't get my bank account number for automatic withdrawal. It's actually good in a way that so many places near me have MoneyGram transfer, because it's a lot safer and cheaper to pay it in person instead of mailing it and wasting money on a stamp!
