Yeah, so I drove to TN and back today.  I went for a meeting with the controller at the company I've been doing phone interviews with.  Well, it was weird.  I spoke with HR and the controller.  Both kept referring to me as an employee.  Like, "when you start, this will be your office", "This is Janice. You'll work with her a lot", etc.  BUT THEY NEVER ACTUALLY OFFERED ME THE DAMN JOB!!!! 

It wasn't really an interview, just a meeting...I mean, we've really already discussed everything...The controller gave me a tour of the plant, the HR coordinator discussed the benefits with me (even told me to negotiate for more vacation time), etc...But no one actually offered me a job, not even just a verbal offer!  I told the controller that Daniel and I plan on looking at rental options this weekend and asked her if it makes sense for us to do that...She said, "absolutely"...I know they plan on offering it, but they didn't!  I'm so annoyed!!!  I want to know how much they'll be paying before I go look at places to live!

The controller even asked me again when I'd be able to start...I told her I'd need three weeks (2 week notice + 1 week to move)...She keeps checking to see if there's any way I could start before month-end (which I can't do)...What I wanted to tell her was, "Well, the faster you guys actually offer the job, the sooner I can actually start!"

Anyway, I guess it's good that it went well and I think they plan on offering me the job...I guess I'm just frustrated that it isn't going as quickly as I want it to...
